I-70 MOTORSPORTS PARK – NOW HIRING
ODESSA, MO. (February 23, 2023) – I-70 Motorsports Park is seeking to add part-time team members for the 2023 race season. Current openings are listed below. Please email inquiries and resumes to Casey.Shuman@I70motorsportspark.com.
TRACK ANNOUNCER (Seasonal)
Job Description:
• Majority of I-70’s events consist of hosting national sanctioning bodies and their competing classes. I-70 Motorsports Park’s Track Announcer will be responsible for promoting I-70’s event sponsors, event details, etc. throughout an event. May be asked to announce limited amount of support class races.
• Must be able to announce oval dirt racing events, manage music and pre-recorded sponsor advertisements over PA, and promote I-70 events.
• Ability to promote Horseshoe Indianapolis with local and national media.
• Require willingness to interact with customers, sponsors, racers, officials, and vendors as a representative of I-70 Motorsports Park.
• Lead fan engagement activities during events.
• Other duties as assigned.
VIDEO BOARD OPERATOR (Seasonal)
Job Description:
• Responsible for operating video board graphics and videos during I-70 Motorsports Park events.
• Ability to follow and understand race schedules and keep pace with event.
• Responsible for operating all video board equipment. Training included.
• Keep an accurate and timely rotation of sponsor logos/advertisements, graphics, and other pertinent information on racetrack video board.
• Ensure scoring and lap count is functioning and accurate at all times on the racetrack video board.
• Other duties as assigned.
HEAD FLAGMAN (Seasonal)
Job Description:
• Responsible for nightly flagging duties at I-70 Motorsports Park events.
• Other duties as assigned.
FACILITY MAINTENANCE MANAGER (Seasonal)
Job Description:
• Responsible for mowing, general facility maintenance, and upkeep of I-70 Motorsports Park.
• Ability to maintain, diagnose, and repair facility infrastructure and grounds at I-70 Motorsports Park.
• Days/hours are flexible.
• Other duties as assigned.
